Supply Chain Lead
About Us:
Hi there 👋 we’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’re only just getting started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company we’re already one of Europe’s fastest growing start-ups 🚀 So, fancy coming along for the ride?😃
The Role:
We're looking to hire a Supply Chain Lead to join our Supply Chain team to help ensure a smooth supply planning of our liquid products (body wash, hand wash, hair care) and drive supply chain excellence. You will play a pivotal role in aligning supply plans with business goals, optimising day-to-day operations, and continuously improving supply chain processes.
This role will report into our Head of Supply Chain and manage a Supply Chain Executive. You will collaborate closely with the Demand Planning, Fulfilment, NPD and Marketing teams as well as our third-party manufacturers and suppliers, playing a key role in the overall success of the business.
📓Some of your responsibilities:
Global Supply Planning & Inventory management
Account management: Manage, build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing 3rd party suppliers and contract manufacturers for our liquid range. Have weekly meetings with suppliers to ensure smooth production runs
Process management: Manage the product and component ordering process with 3rd party suppliers and contract manufacturers, raising POs, production scheduling and reporting
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ensuring the right stock levels across all locations while minimising overstock and out of stock.
Strategy & Optimisation
Performance Monitoring: Assist in tracking key supply chain metrics, reporting on progress, and supporting the Head of Supply Chain in adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve KPIs.
Supply Chain Optimisation: Oversee day-to-day supply chain activities, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and cost reductions
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within supply planning, utilising data and insights to enhance forecasting accuracy and optimise planning processes.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential disruptions or challenges within the supply chain, supporting the Head of Supply Chain in implementing mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales/marketing, NPD & logistics to ensure supply plans are executed effectively and in alignment with business requirements.
Team Management
Team Management & Support: Provide leadership and guidance to less senior supply chain team members, stepping in to oversee key projects and day-to-day activities as needed. Act as a point of escalation for complex issues within the supply chain function.
