About the role:
We are seeking a driven and positive individual to join our team as a People and Talent Executive. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation by attracting and retaining top talent, alongside other people ops responsibilities.
This is a junior / entry level role.
Key responsibilities:
Recruitment & onboarding:
Support hiring managers with recruitment activities (e.g screening candidate applications, managing initial interviews)
Maintain records and reports of recruitment activities and candidate information in an applicant tracking system (ATS)
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed including right to work and reference checks.
Act as a point of contact for new employees, providing support and guidance as they acclimate to their roles and the organisation.
Support our Head of People with employee offboarding
HR & Compliance:
Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Office Management:
Maintaining a thriving office environment that our team loves being in.
Ensure the office is organised, clean, safe, and well-stocked. Manage all office supplies, supplier relationships, and keep an organised working space for everyone.
Be the first point of contact for anyone visiting our office.
Minute taking in company wide and external meetings.
Organising social events for the team, and other employee engagement activities.
Champion sustainable practices throughout the organisation & office environment.
What we need from you:

Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and colleagues.
Accountability: A strong sense of ownership, taking full responsibility for the outcomes of their decisions and actions. They should be comfortable making tough calls and holding themselves accountable for project performance.
Proactivity: We need someone who doesn't wait for problems to arise but actively seeks out potential challenges and takes initiative to address them. A forward-thinking mindset and a drive for continuous improvement are essential.
Time Management & Prioritisation: The right candidate will excel at managing multiple tasks and deadlines, effectively prioritising their workload to ensure high-impact tasks are completed first. They should be organised and able to balance competing priorities efficiently.
Openness to Feedback: We are looking for someone who is receptive to constructive criticism and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will actively seek feedback, embrace opportunities for growth, and adjust their approach when necessary to achieve better results.
Ability to Work Independently and in a Team: The ideal candidate must be equally comfortable working autonomously, managing their own responsibilities, and collaborating effectively within a team. They should be able to contribute individually while also supporting team goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
